Then using that email and linked it to our parent view and they create that account and they email you the information as to your username and temporary password so that you can go in and activate that account and reset your own password now how many of you if you've been with last 10 years past you already have a parent you account so you would want to use that same email that was utilized for schoolman enrollment and if you happen to forgot. I forgot the password you forgotten how to get in and you can use that forgot password option that is right on that sign in and I believe when you go in the first thing is to ask are you a parent or are you a student or a teacher or something like that so you would click on I am a parent you'll see the login sign we'll use that email and the password that you created and it'll like you right in again if you don't remember that password if it's been awhile since you've gone into parentvue I'm you can always use that for. Serie A la piscina de las calificaciones this is what a grade page looks like within a class so then throw classic Ikea slow Cabana bean and there's a lot of information here and I want to take you through some of the tenets the basic so depending on the teacher and the department and what do they have there organized by category whether it's a reading if the reading portion of their grades writing is its projects test so just depends on how the teacher that department organizes their category but you'll see category and then you'll see all of the assignments underneath and you'll notice that the assignments are blue and that is because you can click on each of those assignment and the assignments will take you to the information page of that assignment where you can the directions or the steps that the student was supposed to take to complete the assignment next to the assignment itself you'll see the due date and time and then the grade all the way across now when you're looking at the grave I just want to give you an idea of what some of these symbols mean if you see a small blue square a rectangle and next to an assignment that mean but the student actually submitted something sometimes you'll see that blue line with ours are the blue square with a line next to that that just means it's been submitted at the teacher hasn't had a chance to read it yet I'm so if you see the blue square that's actually a good thing that means that something was turned in whether it's graded or not graded yet that'll be indicated by the greater the blank blank the other one you want to look out for is this little orange hex which indicates a missing assignment so it could be that teachers will leave it blank for a little bit and then once a week or so has gone by Bill flag it as missing. Sacramento Locust and buscando Como sumar Corrado's Ellis Island be there, so I'll throw a fit the two great resources we have there my tutoring Khan Academy I definitely encourage you know when your kids are home and they can't fight ask their teacher that question right in the moment you know they can always message their teacher But the teacher may not respond until the following day and Easter resources to provide a little bit of assistance on the spot any questions about those two Acts or where to find them or I'm going to the post office and my tutoring Khan Academy but just to wrap it up again we encourage you to have your child login to Schoology I'm sorry the question was where are they so in honor student on your students Chromebook they have the very first page that pops up when there's when your student turns on their Chromebook we call it class link and it's basically a collection of all of the apps they have access to I'm it's where they go to get to their textbook this where they go to get to schoology I'm so in Cross Plains one of the apps that they have and I'll go ahead and actually show you what classes looks like it looks like you probably have seen it when they open up their computers it's a collection of everything they have access to so they would just look for my tutor it looks a little different than the one I have on my page because I have the teacher access but they'll look for the one that says my computer or the look for the one that says Khan Academy no problem play one tire and donde encuentro Con Academy in my tutor Khan Academy I even avid I even have a light that's a great question thank you okay so just to wrap up again some suggestions and tips that we have four and as I said earlier you don't you don't need to have your own account for schoology if you haven't been able to get that go ahead and just ask your child open your device must walk through each class show me what you did. if you can please please mute unless you have a question also we encourage you to ask students to show their assignments with you show me what you did that calendar is a great place to start for that so go to your calendar say okay. I see you had this do today show me what you what you did you know was it easy was it difficult did you struggle with anything if there's something you still don't understand what are the student is able to verbalize and explain like I didn't understand this it's going to make it easier for them to then be able to have that conversation with your teeth with you first I didn't understand this but don't understand what the stop it in this problem that way you can encourage them to actually communicate with their teacher and they know what to say cuz I think what happened a lot of times it's that the students don't want to ask the teacher cuz they don't know exactly how to phrase it I'm so having share that with you first is kind of great practice for them I'm obviously if you haven't done so already activate those accounts the parentvue and schoology account I would encourage you to use parentvue daily if not daily weekly at 1 I'm especially if you're getting those calls saying that your child was marked tardy or absent and then as always we encourage you and your child to message our teachers if there's ever any need for Thursday assistance for support and I showed you how you can do that in parentvue in schoology you will also see a little envelope and you can message teachers that way and your students all know how to message 13th I would encourage there's something they don't understand if they need help with something please reach out it's not to a teacher at least to a staff member they can reach out to any of us coaches if there's something that we can help them with the let me not a listing of speed of a feeling there are connecting points Ecology of the audio message Via Sevilla Hispanic students and o n n a p conformist Arizona located what does besos estudiantes no hacen Las preguntas en Clase en Alles Montana Los maestros Burrell 1407 Como expressed are a lot of people.
